Held annually in April, this event is Habitat's way of honoring every volunteer that worked in any capacity with HFHV during the previous year.

2009 Charlie Jones Lifetime Achievement Award

This coveted award is presented each year at the Habitat Celebrates Homes event to a volunteer honoring their lifetime contributions to Habitat for Humanity Victoria. The 2009 recipient Is Joe Painter.  Mr. Painter served on the HFHV Board for six years and on the Family Selection Committee for ten years.

Hardhat Society

To qualify for the Hardhat Society, a volunteer must work 25 hours on a build site, in the affiliate office, at the ReStore or in a Committee or Board position. Hardhat decorative stickers are awarded for every 50 hours of volunteer time after the first 25.
