Individual Donations
At Habitat for Humanity Victoria, the majority of our funding depends on individuals from all walks of life contributing to our work. From a few coins taped to a card sent during the holidays to large gifts from corporate executives, each donation is needed to make homeownership a reality for our partnering District families.

According to our latest audit, 85% of all funds raised go toward home construction, while only 15% goes to our overhead. This is well above the industry average of 75%.

Your gift makes a difference! A recurring gift is a wonderful way to make a long-term commitment to Habitat, or to spread your giving out over time. A gift of only $15 a month buys 3 windows for a house!

Now HFHV can draft the money directly from your checking account, or charge a credit or debit card monthly, to make giving even easier. Email Cynthia@victoriahabitat.org to set up a direct monthly gift.

Matching Gifts:
Did you know that a matching gift could double or triple your own donation? Many corporations will match or exceed employee or retiree gifts. Talk with your Human Resources department to obtain a matching gift form and include it with your donation. We'll take care of the rest! Some corporations even provide grants for your contribution of time.

Celebration and Memorial Gifts:
As you plan special remembrances for family and friends this year, consider a gift that keeps on giving. Upon receipt of your contribution, we will send an acknowledgement card indicating a gift to Victoria Habitat has been made in your name or a loved one's name.
